1. Discovery Call
The onboarding process begins with a discovery call between your organisation and the Beyond the Job team. During the call, we’ll learn more about your organisation and how you intend to use Beyond the Job. This may include:- The number of apprentice or user seats you require
- The apprenticeship standards and programmes you deliver
- What you want to achieve through using Beyond the Job
- How Beyond the Job could support your existing training and development processes
- Your requirements as your organisation grows
2. Agreements & Payment
If you decide to proceed with Beyond the Job, we’ll move on to the setup stage. Before access is provided, we’ll discuss and send you the relevant agreements and confirm your chosen package and number of seats. Once the required agreements are in place and payment has been received, we can begin setting up your organisation on the platform.3. Organisation Setup
Beyond the Job will create your organisation’s dedicated space on the platform. You’ll be asked to provide a nominated contact who will be responsible for managing access and monitoring users through the Beyond the Job dashboard. Once your organisation has been set up, we’ll provide the nominated contact with their login details and a unique access code. The nominated contact can then share this access code with the apprentices or users who have been allocated a seat.4. User Registration
Apprentices and other approved users can register for Beyond the Job using the access code provided by their organisation. Once the user has successfully registered and entered the correct access code, they will be granted access to the platform. They can then begin exploring the activities, resources and development opportunities available to them.5. Monitoring Users
Once a user has registered, they will appear within the nominated contact’s organisation dashboard. The dashboard provides an overview of each user, including information such as:- User name and details
- Login activity
- Activities completed
- Activities currently being worked towards
- KSB criteria being met or worked towards
6. Ongoing Monitoring
We recommend that nominated contacts regularly review their dashboard to monitor user engagement and progress. The dashboard can be used to identify:- Users who are actively engaging with the platform
- Activities that have been completed
- KSB areas being developed
- Users who may require additional encouragement or support
- Overall engagement across the organisation
7. Managing Seats
Seats can be managed throughout the duration of your Beyond the Job subscription. For example, when an apprentice:- Completes their apprenticeship
- Leaves the organisation
- Enters a long break-in-learning
- No longer requires access
